Don Lemon

Lemon joined CNN in September 2006. He is outspoken in his work on CNN, criticizing the state of cable news and publicly questioning the Internet. He also put forward strong opinions on how the African American community can improve lives, which has caused some controversy. Since 2014, he has also co-hosted the New Orleans CNN New Year’s Eve special with Brooke Baldwin. On January 31, 2018, Lemon’s sister L’Tanya “Leisa” Lemon Grimes passed away at the age of 58.

The police concluded that her death was accidental drowning in a pond while fishing. After being absent for about a week, he thanked everyone on February 6th for all who wished him “words of prayer and encouragement.” He said that conservatives like Sean Hannity were among the first to be called, which shows that they actually respect each other and maintain a good relationship, even if they disagree on these issues. Lemon met real estate agent Tim Malone in 2017, and the two began dating. The couple announced their engagement in April 2019.
